Bharathiar University Extends 2026 Ph.D. Admission Deadline to July 9

Bharathiar University has extended the last date for online applications for July 2026 Full-Time and Part-Time Ph.D. admissions to July 9, 2026 (11.59 p.m.). Eligible candidates can apply through the University's official website.


Coimbatore: Bharathiar University has extended the last date for submitting online applications for admission to its Full-Time and Part-Time (Regular Stream) Ph.D. programmes for the July 2026 session. The deadline, which was originally June 29, 2026, has now been extended to July 9, 2026, until 11.59 p.m.

The extension applies to admissions in the various departments of Bharathiar University, colleges affiliated to the University in the districts of Coimbatore, Erode, Tiruppur and The Nilgiris, as well as recognised research institutions.

Eligible candidates seeking admission to the July 2026 Ph.D. programmes can submit their applications online through the University's official website, www.b-u.ac.in, before the revised deadline.

The University has advised aspiring research scholars to complete the application process well before the closing date to avoid last-minute technical issues.
