Zucca Pizzeria and Café plans to launch 100 Franchisee outlets in south Indian.
“With three branches in Coimbatore and having customers over 17,000 whose numbers keep increasing by day, we are in the process of scaling up our operations in partnership with ASK Infra Pvt Ltd,” said Mr. Arun Kumar, Founder of Zucca Pizzeria and Café, here on Saturday.
He was addressing the media to announce his plan to launch 100 Franchisee outlets in cities spanning across South India by end of 2019 in two different formats 'Zucca Pizzeria & Cafe and Zucca - express format'.
While Zucca Pizzeria and Cafe will resemble its existing shops and would serve varieties of freshly baked handcrafted pizzas with freshly ground sauces and handpicked toppings, Zucca- express format outlets will be smaller in size and cater to the needs of people who are on the move.
This would generate employment opportunity for more than 2,000 persons and create more entrepreneurs. “That is one of the important driving forces behind the plan to set up 100 Franchisee outlets,” he added.
"New outlets can be launched at a touch of button creating new credentials and don't have to be created from scratch", said Mr. Arun Kumar.
When asked about the competition from multinational companies serving pizzas in the market, he said he was not considering them as competitors as “our hand crafted pizzas are unique and multiple choice of crusts and sauces gives a totally different dimension for the same pizza toppings and customers love this aspect.”
Mr. Rajesh Keerthi, CEO of ASK, termed the partnership with Zucca Pizzeria as a win- win situation for both of them as it would enable both the players to reach out to more people and expand their footprints.
