Around 3,000 lawyers today boycotted the court proceedings here condemning Judge Rajavel of Court No 6 criminal court here.
They alleged that Judge Rajavel has been working against the interests of the lawyers. The lawyers said that they would continue to boycott court no 6 until action has been initiated Judge Rajavel.
Due to the protest, several case proceedings came to a halt in the district combined court complex that has around 40 courts functioning within its premises.
