Coimbatore, Nov. 16
In an attempt to create awareness about the application of bio-fertilizers, the Institute of Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding (IFGTB), has planned to conduct a three-day free training programme on their campus near Lawley Road here, from November 29.
According to A. Karthikeyan, Scientist at IFGTB, the participants are to be taught about the basics of bio-fertilizers through practical and theory sessions.
“We would also teach them how to apply them in farms and to produce on a mass scale,” he told SimpliCity.
He further added that members of NGOs, teachers, members of environmental groups and media persons can attend the workshop.
Interested persons may contact A. Karthikeyan, at 94433-74119 or mail to [email protected].
