A free Eye Checkup and Treatment camp is to be conducted by Aravind Eye Hospital and Isha Outreach in collaboration with the Chola Group of Companies on September 10 at the Government Higher Secondary School in Alandurai near Velliangiri Foot hills.
Those who are diagnosed for cataract surgery will be taken to Aravind Eye Hospital in the city. The beneficiaries will avail the treatment, transport and accommodation free of cost.
Good quality spectacles will also be offered to those in need at a very cheap cost. Visitors to the camp are required to provide identity proof (Aadhaar card or voter's id) at the venue.
