Water levels on the rise in Siruvani, Pillur and Aliyar dams.


Following the start of monsoon showers, the catchment areas of important reservoirs like Siruvani, Pillur and Aliyar are receiving moderate to heavy rainfall. 

As of 8th September, the water levels in each of the reservoir is as follows:

Siruvani Dam:

Total Depth: 50 feet.

Water Level: 35.98 feet.

Rainfall in siruvani dam: 10 mm.

Pillur Dam:

Total Depth: 100 feet.

Water Level: 90.25 feet.

Inflow in pillur dam: 1225 Cusecs.

Aliyar Dam:

Total Depth: 120 feet.

Water Level: 79.50 feet.

Inflow in Aliyar dam : 736 Cusecs.
