Signature campaign on to urge Govt. to withdraw GST on Insurance Premium- Girija, VP - AIl India Insurance Employees


Condemning against the steep hike in of GST levied on Insurance Premium , which has adversely affected the insurance sector in the country, Girija, Vice President of All Indian Insurance Employees Union said that the a signature campaign is being launched to express our grievances and urge the GST board and the Government to withdraw the GST.

 

Briefing the media Girija said that the number of people taking insurance has fallen since the roll out of GST and said that a state wide signature campaign is being carried out and over 2 signatures have been gathered in Coimbatore alone.

 

The political parties and social sector have extended their support to our rightful demand, Girija said.
