The students of Bharathiar University Arts and Science College, Valparai boycotted classes and staged a sit in dharna in front of the college registering their protest against the untimely death of Anitha, and the governments which have largely misled the medical aspirants in the state by promising to get exemption to NEET.
The students observed a minute silence condoling the death of Anitha of Ariyalur.
Later they raised slogans condemning the governments for misleading the student community. They demanded that justice be done to student community who have lost a brilliant student in Anita for NEET imposition.
