Coimbatore couple blessed by orphans during wedding!

While many people spend extensively and waste money on unwanted things in the name of marriage, in a noble initiative that has received appreciation from various people, a couple from Coimbatore have invited orphaned children to participate and bless them on their wedding here.

The wedding that took place at the Kongu Mahal near Karumathampatti on the 2nd of September took everybody by surprise as the couple decided to invite 135 orphaned children as Chief Guests on the biggest occasion in their life.

The idea was birthed by the interest of Subramani, father of the groom S. Aravind. Subramani had frequented to the Orphanage on several occasions like on his son's birthday and offered financial assistance to the children.

A few months back, Subramani's son got engaged to Sadhana from Coimbatore. And, it was decided to conduct the wedding on 2nd September. "Instead of contributing something to the orphanage, I decided to do something more meaningful. And, that's when the thought of inviting the orphaned children to our family wedding popped up. I hesitantly shared the idea with my family members who instanly agreed to my idea" Subramani shared.

On the day of wedding, two buses were arranged to pick the children from the orphanage to the wedding hall. "The sight of the children playing all around the wedding hall and the moment they chorously wished the couple after the wedding will remain in our hearts forever" said Subramani in a very emotional tone.

Post wedding, the children were offered a gala lunch who sat amidst all other guests which was a very new experience for them. Usually when people donate food for the orphanage, the children would have it in their usual premise. But having lunch with so many people in a wedding hall was a moment to cherish for the kids too.

All the guests in the wedding hall were taken aback by the idea and gesture of the bride's father, Subramani who has definitely set an example for many. Though much cannot be done to comfort the orphaned children, such noble gestures will give them a reassurance that they have been thought of and loved.

Everybody had a strong message to take back from the wedding of Aravind and Sadhana.
