After their protest in Railway station, this morning, the valiant members of the Thanthai Periyar Dravida Kazhagam (TPDK) marched towards the BJP District Office in Bharathiar Street.
The members raising slogans and claiming the BJP government as "anti-people", more than 50 members marched from the TPDK Office in Gandhipuram Junction to stage agitation in front of the BJP Office.
Killing the dreams of students and the people of TN has become a day-to-day affair for the BJP Government alleged the protestors. The police stopped them from proceeding and advised to withdraw their protests. As the determined protestors continued to intensify their protests, a scuffle broke out between the police and the protestors which resulted in the arrest of 50 of the agitators.
