Senior DMK Leader Durai Murugan was here in the city along with MK Stalin, Working President to attend meeting few meetings and weddings of party members in Coimbatore, Salem and Erode.
Speaking to the press at the Coimbatore International Airport, the Senior Leader stated that "Expressing their lack of confidence and withdrawal of support to Edapadi Palanisamy's governance, 19 MLAs who are supporters of TTV Dhinakaran have submitted individual letters to Governor Vidhyasagar Rao. However, the governor's statement saying that it's their party problem, is surprising and shocking as well".
"His statement claiming the resignations to be 'inner party struggle' does not do justice to his post, at all. Yet, I still trust on him as he his a person with sound experience. In the recent past, the same Governor accepted lack of confidence letters from 9 MLAs from OPS team and called for vote of trust in the assembly. But, now why the letters of 19 MLAs is not enough to call again for a vote of trust?" Durai Murugan questioned.
