During the recent shuffle of top officials in Tamil Nadu, IAS Officer Saravanan who was the Deputy Commissioner (traffic) Coimbatore was transferred to Chennai headquarters and Durai was appointed as DC (traffic) Coimbatore.
Durai who took charge as DC on May 17th is now been transferred to Kanyakumari as Superintendent of Police. And, Dharmarajan SP of Kanyakumari will take charge as Deputy Commissioner, Coimbatore Headquarters.
However, no officer has been named for the post of DC (traffic) which remains vacant as of now.
Senior IAS officer and Home Secretary of Tamil Nadu issued these transfer orders.
