The 42nd Annual Conference of the IAP-TNSC Kongu Pedicon 2017 is being jointly organized by Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Coimbatore Chapter from 11th to 13th August 2017 at the Codissia Trade Fair Complex.

Briefing the media on the occasion, Dr. Buma, Consultant Pediatrician said that "Presently, TamilNadu holds second place in low number of child mortality rate, next to Kerala. Bringing down the child mortality rate is a direct indicator of Public health system in any country" she said.
Pediatricians from various parts of the Southern region are scheduled to take part in this conference.
