TNAU Coimbatore Announces Mushroom Cultivation Training for Farmers and Entrepreneurs

Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Agricultural University's Department of Plant Pathology is organizing a comprehensive three-day skill development training program for farmers and entrepreneurs interested in mushroom cultivation. The training, scheduled from June 29 to July 1, 2026, will provide detailed guidance on mushroom seed production and cultivation techniques.

Participants will need to pay a fee of Rs.5,370 (including taxes) to attend the training. University administration has emphasized that pre-registration is mandatory for this program. The training fee can be paid directly at the university or through bank transfer facilities.

Mushroom cultivation has emerged as a profitable venture for small and medium-scale farmers, offering substantial income generation opportunities with minimal investment.
