Demanding to issue free land pattas to 40 families of Arunthathiyar community living in near Thudiyalur the cadres of Tamil Puligal petitioned District Collector T.N.Hariharan to allot land pattas to the deprived sections who have been living in the area for over 40 years.
“Over 40 families of Arunthathiyar community people live in MGR Nagar, Pudhupudur in Periyanaickenpalayam union, have been denied basic amenities including road, power drinking water supply. The District Collector should initiate action to extend them basic amenities”, said Thambi Vinoth, District Secretary of Tamil Puligal said.
