Kovai Kulangal Pathukaapu Amaippu, which has been successfully renovating vital water bodies in and around the city has embarked on renovating an ancient well in Sundakamuthur

The centuries -old ancient well was in a neglected condition and over 200 volunteers of the forum took up the cleanup campaign in the well, which marked its 26 field work day on this Sunday.

“The hidden steps in the ancient well came into view. There is evidence that water springs are still active in the well, and further digging would help recharge the well. We would continue with the renovation of the ancient well and help it to bring it into public utility” said the enthused volunteers.
