A special cooking demo “Cooking for Diabetes” was organized at Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Specialties Centre, 1045, Avinashi Road, Coimbatore for the benefit of patients and consumers.

A total of eight dishes were demonstrated at the cooking session by Mrs. Madhu Wadhwa such as Flakes Adai, Channa Mushroom Silma, Sprouts Chapathi, Tofu Chutney etc.
These are easy to prepare and less time-consuming recipes that can be prepared at home on a day to day basis.
Well-balanced and healthy diet goes a long way in keeping diabetes at bay. There are several myths about Diabetic food such as it is a special meal that only a diabetic can eat, it is bland and boring etc.
