Nitish Kumar-BJP alliance politically unethical and in contravention to people's mandate- Welfare Party of India.

Welfare Party of India strongly criticized the formation of the new Nitish Kumar-BJP government in Bihar. Party national president Dr.S.Q.R. Ilyas in a statement released to the media said the new government is politically unethical and contravene to people's mandate.

“Nitish -Modi alliance should take people's mandate afresh before forming the Government.”the statement said.

“The JDU-RJD-Congress grand alliance had taken people's verdict and came to power in Bihar on strong anti-Sangh sentiments and for a secular platform. It had given impetus to all non-communal forces across the country. He should have taken the opinion of at least his legislative members before going for such an unholy alliance. Nitish has proved beyond doubt that he is not a man of principles and values but behind power.

"It is now well established that the hue and cry of corruption against Lalu Prasad and his son was part of a large conspiracy. The allegation that the Governors have turned into mere political tools have been once more proven with the developments taken place in Patna the other day. The Governor should be sacked to establish constitutional dignity,” the statement further said.

The statement reiterated the demand for taking peoples opinion afresh regarding the new alliance.
