Customs officials seized about 2 kg and 600 grams of gold bars from an air passenger who arrived at the city airport.
Sathik Ali of Keezhakarai in Ramanathapuram district has arrived from Sharjah by G9 flight and on checking he was found to be hiding the gold bars in his baggage.
