Dhandapani Loganathan, a cycling enthusiast from the city has been spreading social message through his cycling expeditions. He has now embarked on a cycle rally to create awareness on “Clean India Campaign”.

“I have great interest in cycling. I have ridden cycle on my own from Coimbatore to Bangalore, Ooty, Kothagiri, Salem, Erode, Karur, and Kerala for creating awareness on “Prevention of Child Abuse and Clean India”.

“This time around I am embarking on this cycle expedition to create awareness on clean India.The government of India has aimed to make India a clean India by 2nd October 2019 which is the 150th birth anniversary of the Mahatma Gandhi. Hence, it is only possible if each and every person living in India understand this campaign and join hands together to make it a successful mission.” Dhandapani Loganathan said.
"I have planned to start off my cycle journey from Chennai to Trichy and then to Coimbatore which is approximately 555 mms for creating awareness of “Clean India”. I will complete this rally within three days and on the way create awareness among people by issuing pamphlets. My friend will also accompany me for this rally in his motor bike. The rally is supported by Rotaract club" Loganathan added.

Loganathan has started off from Chennai and reached Ulundurpet (July 21). On day two he would travel from Ulundurpet to Trichy (July 22) on day three from Trichy to Coimbatore (July 23).
