The Department of General and GI Surgery of PSG IMS&R and PSG Hospitals have conducted a National Conference PSG Surgicon 2017 at their campus
The four day conference which started on 24th June had live workshop on Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery.
Throwing light on the Laparoscopic & Open surgeries for Liver, Pancreatic and Biliary diseases and the recent trends in the management. CME lectures, Hands-on-Workshop on open and laparoscopic surgeries, live demonstration of Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery Surgical procedures, key lectures by eminent faculty and Teleconference marked the conference.
Prof. Brice Gayet (France) a renowned laparoscopic surgeon in the field of Hepato Pancreato Biliary Surgery as the Chief faculty of this programme. Robotic surgery, 3D and 4K Live surgery transmission are some of the attractions of this conference.
Lectures and symposia were held and the main beneficiaries are practicing General, Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary surgeons of our country as well as the adjoining countries and surgical postgraduate students along with the HPB superspeciality students from all the states.
About 50 eminent specialists in this field took part National Faculty. About 400 delegates have attended this event.
