'The wind velocity pattern in the city would increase in the coming days due to prevailing climatic conditions. Due to seasonal wind currents the velocity of winds would vary between 8 km to 10 km' said Panneerselvam, HOD of Agro climatic Centre, Tamilnadu Agriculture University.
'While the wind velocity was high at 13 kms today, it was 9 km yesterday. The wind velocity would gradually increase from hereon till end of July' Panneerselvam said.
