Those opposing the candidature of Ramnath Kovind are enemies of scheduled castes and minorities- Dr.Krishnasamy, President, Puthia Tamilagam

Those who are opposing the candidature of Ramnath Kovind for the presidential election are deemed to be the enemies of scheduled castes and minorities said Dr.Krishnasamy, President of Puthia Tamilagam.

Briefing the media here, Dr.Krishnasamy said that the selection of the Ramanth Kovind as a candidate is an indicator of social justice and I thank BJP for selecting a humble Dalit leader and I greet Ramnath Kovind on this occasion.

Exhorting to the opposition parties including Congress and DMK to extend their support to the candidature of Ramnath Kovind he criticized the Dalit Panthers of India leader Thol. Tirumavalavan for expressing his views to nominate a common Dalit candidate representing the opposition’s parties.

“Expressing such views even as BJP has selected a Dalit candidate for the presidential polls amounts to narrow mindedness. Ramnath Kovind is not against the interests of Muslims and Christians and he will prove himself as an able president for all sections of the society ‘he said.
