8755 candidates appearing for UPSC preliminary in Coimbatore district

As many as 8755 candidates are appearing for the UPSC preliminary examination in 22 centres in the district on June 18 and all the necessary arrangements have been put in place for the exams said Ananthraj Vishnupatil, UPSC Monitoring officer.



Convening a meeting at the Collectorate here with officials he said that the candidates should not carry mobile phone or calculators inside the examination halls and those found cheating would be debarred from appearing in exams.

Security arrangements have been put in place in all the center and if there is any disturbance occurred a t the examination center, the candidates are advised to contact 0422- 230114/5/6.
