Burglars decamp with 18 sovereigns of Gold ornaments at Narasimhanaickenpalayam

Burglars broke into the house of Chandran (60), a retired Sub-Collector at Narasimhanaicken palayam and decamped with 18 sovereigns of Gold ornaments kept in the steel locker.

Chandran was away with his family to attend a marriage function in Kerala when the incident happened.

Chandran found the front door ajar when he returned home from Kerala.

Following a complaint given by Chandran, Sulur police registered a case and are investigating. Finger print experts have been working at the spot to get vital clues.
