Peeved at the delay on the allocation of venue for the two day refresher course the 108 Ambulance drivers and medical assistants staged a sit -in dharna in front of Government medical college hospital which created a flutter.
The 108 ambulance operators from Erode, Tiruppur and Nilgiris who have come to attend the two day course was shocked and dismayed when no venue was allocated for it.
We were kept waiting till afternoon without no announcement of venue and so we staged the dharna” said the 108 ambulance drivers.
The authorities finally allotted Thomas hall, near Railway station, following which the drivers dispersed.
