Cadres of Indian Students Assn. lay siege to CEO's office, demanding to curb "robbery" of private Educational institutions

Cadres of Indian students Association staged a novel protest by blind - folding themselves to register their protest against private schools and institutions that fleece the parents of wards in the name of school fees and donations.

The cadres, who went in a procession from Town Hall, tried to barge into Chief Educational Officer’s office, but was prevented by the Police posted there. The laid siege to the CEO’s office, when they were removed by the police.

“Demanding that the government check the exorbitant fees collected by private schools the cadres said private educational institutions are collecting huge amounts arbitrarily and the Government has to fix the fee structure for these private educational institutions to avoid "day light robbery" of this institutions”

“On the other hand, there is no basic infrastructure in Government – run schools and the situation should be changed for the better” the protesting cadres demanded.
