Over 100 Advocates of District Courts complex here boycotted the courts and proceedings and staged a protest condemning against the lack of water supply to the court complex by the City Corporation.
“The City Corporation has asked the court authorities to give Rs.2,600 for a tank load of drinking water, which is condemnable. Over 1000 advocates work in the various courts in the court complex and thousands of litigants and general public visit it every day.’ The protesting lawyers said.
"We are boycotting courts in condemnation of the city corporation which has not carried out water supply to the court complex" the lawyers said.
Slogans condemning the city corporation were raised during the demonstration.
