Woman strangles drunken husband to death in Irugur.


Police arrested a 40- year old woman Parimaladevi, of Maruthachalam Devar Street, in Irugur, on charges of murdering her husband Eshwaran, (42).



According to police, Parimaladevi had strangulated her husband with a rope and murdered him, as he came back home in a drunken condition and started quarreling with her on Thursday.

Later she had informed about the incident to her brother Tirunavukkarasu, who along with her sister had hanged him from the roof with a rope, to make it appear like a suicide.

However Police who arrived at the murder scene during the interrogation found out that it was a case of murder. Police then arrested Parimaladevi and her brother Tirunavukkarasu and the duo were remanded in custody.
