Thirty Tamil Maanila Congress cadres held for anti-TASMAC protest

Police arrested 30 Tamil Maanila Congress cadres, who protested against TASMAC outlet in Jagathala near Coonor.



Led by Yuvaraj, State Youth Tamil Maanila Congress president, the residents of Jagathala Thinatti protested against the out let.



“The proximity of TASMAC outlet, to bus stand in the area has caused lot of inconvenience to the residents. Women and Children are put to extreme hardship “the protesters said.



The police arrested the cadres as they resorted to the agitation despite police permission extended to them.
