Special buses from Gandhipuram, Ukkadam, and Singanallur bus stations, would be operated to facilitate candidates appearing for UPSC preliminary examinations reach their examination centres on time, which is being held on June 18 said District Collector TN Hariharan.

Convening a consultative meeting with officials the collector said the preliminary examinations would be held in two sessions from morning 9.30 am to 11.30 am and 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
“Security arrangements would be extended to all the examination centers by posting police in adequate strength. Those found cheating in the exams would be debarred and penal action would be taken against them” the collector said Revenue and police officials took part in the meeting.
