With the help of Kumki Paari, a team of Forest Officials comprising of Vetenraians are presently in the process of capturing the Tusker with the use of tranquilisers. It is reported that shortly the Tusker would be captured and brought under control and would then be sent to either Topslip or Siruvani elephant camp.
'Close to six JCB's and a water tanker has been deployed at the site. The Officials are waiting for two more Kumkis to join the capture operation as presently only Kumki Paari is deployed for the operation', sources say.
