Over 200 cadres of Manithaneya Jananayaka katchi were arrested by Police when they tried to stage a rail roko condemning against the centre’s notification banning slaughter of cows and other bovines.
Tension prevailed infront of the Railway junction as the cadres tried to gain entry into the junction, when police intercepted and arrested them.
The cadres also tried to burn an effigy of Prime Minsiter Modi for enacting an anti-people notification and raised slogans against the notification.
