Drive on to end stray cattle menace in the city - Dr. K. Vijayakarthikeyan, CCMC Commissioner


CCMC Commissioner K. Vijayakarthikeyan has said that a special drive would be conducted to impound all the stray cattle lounging in the streets and public areas.

The owners of the cattle who are found to be leaving the cattle astray would be fined. The impounded cattle which was not claimed by its owner would be sent to Goshala functioning in Velliangiri.

Special teams have been formed to under Health Inspectors to secure and impound the stray cattle to put an end to stray cattle menace in the city. “K. Vijayakarthikeyan said.
