Villagers petition collector against opening new TASMAC outlet in their village

The villagers of Vadaputhur, Thottathusalai and Pottaiyandiputhur in Kinathukadavu taluk have petitioned District Collector TN Hariharan to give up efforts to establish a new TASMAC outlet in Kallukuli bus stop area for which preparations are going on.

In their submitted petition the villagers have stated that construction works are going on to establish a TASMAC outlet in Kinathukadavu- Sokkanur road. The construction said construction of shop is progressing in a plot of land owned by R.Rathinasamy (survey no: 322).



Arguing that if the TASMAC outlet is set up in the area school-going children, working men and women would be highly affected the villagers have prayed to the collector to not to open a TASMAC outlet in the said area.
