3 Students from College found to be selling drugs through WhatsApp

Mahesh, a resident of Gandhipuram, had earlier lent Rs.40,000 to Hari, Kishore and Kannan, who are students of Nehru College. As they were unable to return the borrowed amount, he forcefully seized their mobile phones and laptop. On checking, he discovered that they were selling Ganja, Cocaine and LST to other students through WhatsApp. When he questioned the trio, they replied in a harsh demeanour.

Under the pretext of being lawyers, he had even received many murder threats, however, he decided to file a complaint with the Commissioner. He urged the police to take some action as the lives of these students taking drugs are in grave danger. He also requested that the selling and usage of drugs in private colleges must be strictly monitored.
