Former CM Jayalalitha's cabinet implements welfare assistance scheme and inaugurates watershed

AIADMK former leader Jayalalitha's cabinet has implemented the welfare assistance scheme and also inaugurated a watershed today at the Lakshmi Complex, Cross Cut Road, Coimbatore. North Coimbatore MLA Mr.P.R.G. Arun Kumar, Koundampalayam MLA Mr.R.Kutty, Mettupalayam MLA Mr.O.K.Chinraj and Counselor Ashok Kumar graced the inauguration with their presence.

While speaking at the event, Mr.R.Kutty said, “AIADMK is now split into two factions. If we collaborate with those who work for Sasikala, we will be losing all sense of self-respect and dignity.

Yearning for power and post, about 122 MLA's defected to Sasikala's side, however, these are people who work for their personal motives. Jayalalitha had foreseen the future of TN in the hands of OPS, and we will win with a majority in the future legislative assembly elections.”

“All those who posed a hindrance to the leadership of Jayalalitha amma, and were against her developmental objectives, are the ones who run the state now. Until now, there has been no call to unite the two factions within AIADMK. CM Edappadi had made statements saying that we will unite, but is only doing so for the sake of it. Even if a decision is made to unite, OPS will be put at a huge disadvantage” said Mettupalayam MLA O.K. Chinraj.
