SlickPOS is a cloud-based billing system developed by three entrepreneurs Abhishek Baskaran, Saravanakumar CP and Kaushik from Coimbatore.
SlickPOS comes with various features like Cloud POS, Superfast Billing, Works Offline, Accept Booking, Credit Sales, SMS Receipts, Discounts, Payment Modes, Multiple Cashier Accounts, Dashboard and Reporting Dedicated Support.
Speaking to SimpliCity of this new generation start-up, Saravanakumar CP shares, " Abhishek Baskaran, Kaushik and I are founders of retail and online stores. We have been constantly exploring various billing Softwares and other options available in the market, but we found most retail stores are equipped with normal billing softwares and POS machines. The retailer does not have any database of his customers which he can retain. Say a customer regularly visits a sweet shop and buys one particular type of sweet every time. The owner of the shop may know him as a regular customer but the employees may not. This might be a hurdle in retaining the customer for a long time and bringing them back to the store. With the help of SlickPOS when the customer makes a purchase from the shop, this data is stored through the cloud-based billing system.
The retailer can even promote new products to targeted customers using this database. SlickPOS helps the retailer to improve the sales of the company. The data is secured through Amazon and Microsoft Azure and 99.99 % reliable. It's an application based ecosystem where we will be adding more features like delivery management, accounting, etc. An iPad and Android Version to will be launched by the end of this month as well.
We have 5 active users using SlickPOS and are receiving a lot of enquiries. Our target customers are medium-sized retail stores.”
