The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation (CCMC) in the aim of transforming the City to a cleaner and greener place has been involved in several projects in the past and the present. In the intent of involving student participation in achieving its target of a cleaner Coimbatore, CCMC has announced an interim program for the students. As per the program, 100 aspiring students will be provided with the opportunity to intern for the Swachh Bharath Program which lays focus on segregation of wastes at source.
The selected interns will be engaged in source segregation and related activities in designated communities. The interns will be provided with a stipend of Rs.5000/month.
