Tanny Shelters Private Limited donated a new ambulance to Marudhamalai Arulmigu Subramaniyaswamy Temple in Coimbatore for devotees and public use. The ambulance was handed over by Managing Director Sivaraman Kandasamy in presence of Minister V. Sambathkumar and Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments officials at the temple today.
Coimbatore: A new ambulance vehicle was donated today to the Marudhamalai Arulmigu Subramaniyaswamy Temple in Coimbatore for the benefit of devotees and the general public. The ambulance was contributed by Sivaraman Kandasamy, Managing Director of Tanny Shelters Private Limited, a Coimbatore-based company.
The donation ceremony was attended by Tamil Nadu Backward Classes Welfare Minister V. Sambathkumar, Siravai Adheenam Thavathiru Kumaragurupara Swamigal, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Joint Commissioner Ramesh, Deputy Commissioner/Executive Officer Vimala, and Thakkar Jayakumar, among others. The ambulance was formally handed over in their presence.


Marudhamalai temple receives thousands of devotees daily and lakhs during festival seasons. Recognizing the necessity of immediate ambulance services for emergency medical needs, the company decided to provide this service, according to their statement.

The ambulance, donated with the conviction that "life-saving service is the highest service," was praised by all as being of great benefit to devotees and the public during emergencies.
Siravai Adheenam Thavathiru Kumaragurupara Swamigal blessed the initiative, stating: "Sharing wealth is a higher dharma than accumulating it. Saving one life equals the merit of building a thousand temples."
