Legislative assembly to be convened soon: CM Eddapadi Palaniswami

Ooty, the queen of Nilgiris, recently hosted its 121st Flower Show. Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Eddapadi Palaniswamy credited former CM Jayalalitha for the development and prosperity of Ooty. During her reign, the production of Koy flowers drastically increased and the rose garden was brought to life.

Nilgiri district MP's, Arjunan and Gopalakrishnan had requested the renovation of the Ooty Bus Stand, for which the CM allocated Rs.2 crore. The government will also be supporting Ooty in all further projects.

“Nobody has worked for the betterment of Ooty like our former Chief Minister Jayalalitha” said Eddapadi Palaniswami while taking part in the cultural segment of the flower show. He also stated that the legislative assembly will soon be convened.

The Ooty flower show which began yesterday, is a 3-day event, with an expected crowd of 2 Lakhs this year. The event was inaugurated by Chief Minister Eddapadi Palaniswami.
