A girl R. Shalini, of Vinobaji nagar in Peelmedu has consumed poison and ended her life. The said girl had grown jittery about the SSLC exams results, which was declared this morning.
The girl, who had appeared for the SSLC was found in an unconscious state and she was admitted to Government medical college hospital, where she had succumbed.
Shalini had passed the SSLC exams when it was declared but the unlucky girl had gone to the extreme and consume poison said his neighbours.
