It is cent percent pass among SSLC students rescued from child labour in Coimbatore, Tirupur districts.


All the 17 children who have been rescued from child labour in Coimbatore and Tirupur districts and pursued their school education have passed the SSLC exams in Tirupur district. Said T.V. Vijayakumar, Director of National Child Labour Project.

Vijayakuamar who felicited all the students who have emerged successful in the SSLC exams said that financial assitance would be extended to the children to pursue Higher Secondary course under the NCLP.

Among them, three students have scored over 400 marks with K. Christian scoring 419 marks followed by I. Suresh and R. Saravanakumar who scored 409 and 404 respectively.
