Coimbatore Corporation Deputy Commissioner, P.Gandhimathi, recently conducted an inspection at a newly built park, in the 92nd ward of Narasimhapuram, Coimbatore south zone. Municipal Officer, Santhosh Kumar; south zone assistant commissioner, Ravi, municipal engineers and other officers accompanied her.
She also monitored the mosquito breeding in the region and instructed the corporation workers to use abate larvicide in all the water tanks. Unwanted articles that promote the collection of water and breeding of mosquitoes were removed.
The Deputy Commissioner further examined a tank under construction at Narasimhapuram as well as the waste segregation and garbage disposal in the region.
