The entrepreneur community of Coimbatore and Pollachi have devised a plan to encourage new entrepreneurs by organizing the third- edition of “Startup Payanam” to help budding entrepreneurs to get first-hand knowledge of entrepreneurship through interactive learning and field visits.
About 40 budding entrepreneurs would be taken on a tour of small startups in industries in Chennai area this time around, in which about 20 CEOs from the entrepreneur community would also take part.
Last year, the budding entrepreneur community was taken on a tour to Bangalore in which they interacted with industry experts and benefited by the field visits. The youngsters thus taking part in “Startup Payanam” would be imparted the technical know-how, funding avenues, workforce and marketability of products and this kind of trips help them to acquire knowledge on the startup ecosystem in the country said RG Navin Krishnan, the coordinator of the event.
The three-day tour program would be conducted between May 16-18.
