Passenger Alert: Special Weekly Trains Announced Between Coimbatore and Jaipur

Southern Railway has announced four pairs of special weekly trains between Coimbatore and Jaipur from August 13 to September 6 to accommodate the growing passenger demand. Advance reservations for the services will open on August 6.


Coimbatore: Passengers travelling between Coimbatore and Jaipur will soon have an additional travel option, with Southern Railway announcing special weekly train services to clear the extra rush of passengers during the upcoming travel season.

Accordingly, Train No. 06181 Coimbatore–Jaipur Weekly Express Special will depart from Coimbatore Junction at 2.30 a.m. on August 13, 20, 27 and September 3 (Thursdays) and reach Jaipur at 1.25 p.m. on the third day. A total of four services will be operated in this direction.

In the return direction, Train No. 06182 Jaipur–Coimbatore Weekly Express Special will leave Jaipur at 10.05 p.m. on August 16, 23, 30 and September 6 (Sundays) and arrive at Coimbatore Junction at 8.30 a.m. on the fourth day. Four return services have been scheduled.

The special trains will halt at major stations including Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Renigunta, Kacheguda, Hazur Sahib Nanded, Bhusaval, Vadodara, Ratlam, Chittaurgarh and Ajmer before reaching Jaipur.

Each train will consist of 18 AC Three Tier Economy coaches and two luggage-cum-brake vans, providing additional capacity for passengers travelling between Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan.

Southern Railway has announced that advance reservations for the special services will open at 8 a.m. on August 6, and passengers have been advised to book their tickets early in view of the anticipated demand.
