Passengers travelling on the Ernakulam–Tatanagar Express and Alappuzha–Dhanbad Express via Coimbatore are likely to experience delays on July 27 and 29, and August 1 and 3, due to track maintenance works in the Erode–Salem section.
Coimbatore: Southern Railway has announced the regulation of two long-distance express trains passing through Coimbatore on select dates owing to sleeper renewal works being carried out between Magudanchavadi and Virapandy Road railway stations in the Erode–Salem section.
According to a release, Train No. 18190 Ernakulam–Tatanagar Express, scheduled to operate on July 27 and 29, and August 1 and 3, will be regulated for 50 minutes at a convenient location en route.
Similarly, Train No. 13352 Alappuzha–Dhanbad Express, running on July 27 and 29, and August 1 and 3, will be regulated for 20 minutes at a convenient location en route.
Passengers travelling on these services have been advised to plan their journeys accordingly and expect delays on the notified dates.
