About 500 cadres belonging DMK student wing courted arrest here for staging anti-NEET and anti -Hindi protest here.
Led my DMK State secretary ( student wing) Pugazhendi in front of Taluk office ( South) the protestors said that imposition of NEET amounted to giving more opportunities to the students in North India.
“Both the introduction of NEET and imposition of Hindi might alienate the students and people living in South India and it might lead to the disintegration of the country.” Pugazhendi opined.
The protestors raised anti -NEET slogans and condemned the authoritarian attitude of the Central Government for imposing NEET on people of Tamilnadu.
