The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TANGEDCO) has announced a scheduled power shutdown in areas served by the Pattanam Substation on Monday, June 15, to carry out monthly maintenance works.
According to TANGEDCO, the maintenance work will be undertaken from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., during which electricity supply will remain suspended in the affected areas.
The areas that will be affected include Pattanam, Pattanam Pudur, Kamban Nagar, Noyyal Nagar, Sathyanarayanapuram, the Pallapalayam Electricity Board Office area, Karavali Road, Nagamanayakanpalayam, Kaveri Nagar and Kamatchi Puram.
Electricity Board officials have advised residents and commercial establishments in the affected areas to make necessary arrangements in advance to avoid inconvenience during the maintenance period.
