Power supply will be suspended in Devanampalayam and surrounding areas from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow due to monthly maintenance works at the Devanampalayam substation, electricity board officials said.

The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board has announced a scheduled power shutdown in several areas under the Devanampalayam Substation limits on account of monthly maintenance works.
According to officials, maintenance activities will be carried out at the Devanampalayam Substation from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow.
As a result, power supply will remain suspended in Devanampalayam, Vaguthampalayam, parts of Chettipudur, M. Megoundanpalayam, parts of Kappalangarai, Cheripalayam and Andipalayam during the maintenance period.
Electricity Board officials have advised residents and commercial establishments in the affected areas to make necessary arrangements in advance to avoid inconvenience during the shutdown.
Power supply will be restored once the maintenance works are completed, officials added.
